Abstract. Digital Fabrication Laboratory (Fab Lab) is an educational workshop that is open and easily accessible for personal fabrication. This workshop is equipped with tools for various aspects of technological materialization. In Fab Labs, makers and educators struggle to have proper documentation of their design process. Means for quick documentation are essential for supporting users’ iterative prototyping, as well as analysis and reflection on design activities. This thesis aims to provide a solution to the lack of proper tools for documentation and reflection on design stages in the Fab Lab educational context. To this aim, different interconnected systems for supporting analysis of prototyping in the Fab Lab are developed. These include a mobile-enabled client-server architecture and a web-based administrative dashboard for supporting managing and analysis of annotated visual data of prototype designs in Fab Lab. Concerning the supporting analysis, the focus is to establish an easy to use documentation tool, which comprises of a mobile application and a web administrator for better Fab Lab educational experience. This thesis demonstrates the theoretical part of the lo-fi design, evaluation, implementation of Restful Web Services and implementation of the mobile-enabled system for properly documenting prototyping stages and an admin control panel. A usability testing was conducted for the developed mobile application and the web application. The purpose was to understand users’ feedback on the usability of the prototypes and the features in the applications that users find useful or the features that are required to be added or improved. The majority of the participants find the application useful

    Towards storytelling automatic textual summerized

Abstract This paper examines the development of an automatic summarizer for storytelling. The approach makes use of semantic role labelling and co-referencing in natural language processing. The developed approach has been tested and evaluated using BBC news summary dataset and Grimm Hansel & Gretel novel dataset where a comparison with a state of art TextRank summarizer has been carried out. The results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposal and pave the way for new enhancement of the model to take into account additional constraints that can be imposed on the summarizer

Insight from Nigerian banking customers discussions:a study of contextual semantic search and Twitter sentiment analysis

Abstract Globally, the bank is a significant financial institution that engages customers in millions daily. This financial institution helps its customers in saving their money, with withdrawals, and money transfer electronically. Despite the inevitability of these financial institutions, they are still struggling to improve their customer’s satisfaction index scores. The intervention of the Central Bank and Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission are yielding positive results whenever the local bank failed, but the response time to the customer grievances is quite challenging. The literature reviewed for this study indicates the cruciality of the sentiment analysis technique. This study utilized Twitter Crawler API called the Twitter Scraper for data collection and Textblob, Vader and SentiStrength for the data analyses. The result shows the sentiments in the International Authorization Banking group as against the National Authorization group and a slight difference between the polarities of their customer’s tweets. This study gives new insights internationally and nationally to banking managers and proposes future research directions
